Brandon Acker

Brandon Kacey Acker, 42, of Valley View, Texas, passed away on April 13, 2026. He was born on August 10, 1983, to Kathy Acker in Commerce, Texas.

Brandon is survived by his loving mother, Kathy Acker of Commerce; his sister, Kodi Norris of Rockwall; his nieces, Kaydence and Collins Norris; his sons, Brandon and Dacoda Acker; his grandmother, Annette McRae of Commerce; his aunt, Dianna McRae of Commerce; his grandmother, Linda Angelbeck of Mesquite; and his fiancée, Nancy of Valley View, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Billy Joe McRae, as well as several great-grandparents.

Brandon loved working outdoors and especially enjoyed spending time with animals. He was known for his big heart and the kindness he showed to others. As an organ donor, Brandon gave the gift of life to others, and his legacy will continue through those he helped.

Brandon will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

A private memorial will be held at a later date.
