Bonnie Lunceford Ramsey Vannote

Bonnie Lunceford Ramsey Vannote of Irving, Texas, age 84, died at 12:30 AM, Sunday, October 26, 2008, at Arlington Memorial Hospital, Arlington, Texas.

Bonnie was born February 26, 1924, in Peerless, Texas. She was a baker and a member of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her children: James Ed and Tina Ramsey of Springtown, Texas, Cindy and Santiago Cruz of Grand Prairie, Texas; a brother, Jackie and Janie Lunceford of Commerce, Texas; a sister, Joyce and Bill Camper of Ohio; a sister-in-law, Helen Lunceford of Cumby, Texas; 11 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceeded in death by her husband, James Glenn Ramsey; a son, Larry Junior Ramsey; a daughter, Gloria Ann Nun; her sisters: Mary Evalee Nowlin and Treva Nell Beatles; a brother, William Douglas Lunceford; and a granddaughter, Tammy Sue Nun.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, October 29, 2008, at 11:00 AM in the Jones-Walker & Son Funeral Home chapel with Bro. Roy Lee Dittmar of Mt. Zion Baptist Church officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Santiago Cruz, Vince Walker, Alonso Buenrostro, Edgar Escalante, Yong Choe, Tracy Lunceford, Valentin Cruz, and Juan Cruz.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 9:00 AM until service time (11:00 AM) at Jones-Walker & Son Funeral Home.
