Ben Boykin

Ben Boykin, 54, of Fate passed away early Thursday morning, November 6, 2025, at his residence with his loving wife, son and daughter-in-law at his side.  Ben was born on June 20, 1971, in Houston to Benjamin Newton Boykin and Linda Sue Hickey. He married Sheryl Lynn Kosarek. Ben loved to fish and teaching Brian. He also loved RC cars and racing them. He was employed as a HVAC welder.

He is survived by his wife Sheryl, daughter Briana Martinez; sons Brian Haren and Eric Lee; grandchildren Tanner, Tinleigh, Sagan and Lainey Mae Haren.  He is also survived by sisters Sandy Gerdes, Kathy Brecht, Marietta Elliott and Katherine Ann Waring; brothers Darrell Lee and Joey Navarro.

Ben was preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Jones-Walker & Son Funeral Home.
