Barbara Lynn Mauldin

Barbara Mauldin, 75, of Sulphur Springs and formerly of Commerce passed away Friday, May 26, 2017 at her residence surrounded by family.

Barbara was born in Commerce, Texas on May 08, 1942, to Cynthia Arrington and Thurman "Bob" Horton. She was a bus driver and custodian for Commerce ISD where she retired with over 30 years of service. Barbara enjoyed painting, crocheting, knitting and drawing. She had passion for traveling and loved spending time with her fur babies.

Survivors include her daughter Cynthia L. Mauldin of Commerce; her three sons: Travis D. Mauldin and wife Liz of Caddo, OK, Mark A. Mauldin and wife Tammy of Ladonia, TX and Bobby C. Mauldin and wife Lisa of Sulphur Springs, TX; grandchildren: Heath Grant, Magan Mauldin, Eli Mauldin, Madison Mauldin, Heather Mauldin, Michael Caldwell, Skylar Shelton, Travis G. Mauldin, Whitney Mauldin, Dylan Mauldin, Kayla Mauldin and Rhonda Wooten; great grandchildren: Phoenix, Prezley, Willow, Griffin, Monroe, Jasper, Levi, Ryann, Jay, Jamie, Exlee and soon to be expected "Baby Joselynn.

She was preceeded in death by her parents, Cynthia and Thurman Horton; her brothers: Billy, Robert and Danny; and a great granddaughter Joleigh,

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. in the Jones-Walker & Son Funeral Home Chapel with visitation held from 11:00 A.M. until service time. Burial will follow at Rosemound Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Heath Brown, Charlie Miller, David Nicholson, Charles Webster, Ben White, Jeff White, Shane Hoskison and Josh Hoskison.

Honorary pallbearers will be grandsons.
