Audrey Ann Moffett

Audrey Ann Moffett, 60, of Carrollton, passed away on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at her residence.

She was born on June 23, 1957, in Commerce, the daughter of Glenn Max Ward and Frances Jean Knight Ward. She was a graduate of Commerce High School, and was a claims examiner for Health Special Risk in Carrollton.

She married William Lewis Moffett, Jr. on November 20, 1976, and they made their home in the Dallas area most of their married life. Together, they enjoyed attending different types of festivals, including beer fests and art fests; and made a regular date of Saturday brunches at the Eggsellent Café.

Audrey was a quiet spoken, smart, and non-political individual who thoroughly loved shopping, going out, and just having fun.

She is survived by her husband, William Moffett Jr., of Carrollton, her son, William Moffett III, also of Carrollton, and her sister Merle Ward of Washington state.

Audrey was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Glenn Martin Ward.

Services honoring her life will be held Saturday, March 24, 2018, at 1:00 p.m. at the Jones-Walker and Son Funeral Home in Commerce, Texas.
