Aryless Oleta Buce, 99, of Flint, Texas, passed away at her residence on Wednesday, May 15, 2013, in Flint.
Aryless was born in Willow City, Texas, on April 20, 1914, to James Franklin Bundren and Lula Edna Worcestor Bundren. Before her retirement, she taught at Pine Tree Elementary School in Longview for over 25 years. Aryless enjoyed restoring and collecting antique dolls. She was an excellent seamstress, artist, a great gardener and loved to travel,
Aryless was a member of Green Acre Baptist Church, in Tyler.
Survivors include her son, Bill Follis and wife Ann of San Angelo; her two daughters: Nita Ivie and husband David of Pflugerville and Jane Henson of Flint; her adopted daughters: Sarah Ramsay, Penny Buchanan and Fredericka Mack; her brother, Bill Bundren of Frisco; her two sisters: Jane Pierce of Gilbert, AZ, and Jo Chittenden of San Antonio; ten grandchildren and a host of great and great-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her faithful companion, "Peanut".
She was preceded in death by her two husbands: Norman Follis and Carl Buce; her parents, her daughter Judy Ogden, and, her four siblings: Elouise Skinner, Dorothy Patterson, Elizabeth Longshore and James Bundren.
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, May 18, 2013, at 2:00 P.M at Jones-Wlaker & Son Funeral Home chapel with Les Skinner officiating.
Visitation will be held beginning at 12:00 p.m. until service time.
Pallbearers will be Meredith Ogden, Jon Ogden, John Ivie, James Follis, Brad Follis and David Vaughan. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery.
