Dear Heath Family, I am sorry to have read of your loss; please accept my sincere condolences. Something that I have personally found to be of great comfort are the thoughts expressed at John 5:28&29. In these verses we find a wonderful hope of being reunited with our loved ones again upon the earth as God originally purposed (Gen 1:28; Psalms 37:11,29) with freedom from pain, suffering and death. Knowing this has comforted me greatly and it is my sincere hope that in the days ahead, as you reflect on the life of your beloved Alexander and the precious memories left behind, that you will find comfort and peace in the promises of God, who cannot lie. (Titus 1:2) Questions will come up about why we die? Please go to jw.org to find satisfying answers to these and other questions about life. My deepest sympathies.

My precious memories of Alex are of when your family would visit us in Sweeny for Thanksgiving and all 6 of our kids would enjoy playing together while the adults visited and made meal preparations. Alex was such a delightful little guy and enjoyed helping make homemade play-doh and playing at the beach when we got to do that. He grew into such a handsome young man and my heart breaks along with yours that he was taken from this life before experiencing the joy of raising his son to adulthood. I pray that all of Alex's family will find comfort and strength in the days ahead knowing that God is in control and has a special plan and purpose for every life even when we can't possibly understand the current situation. I love you all!

Dear John and Marilyn and family, Marie and I were so saddened to read about Alex. It is just so heartbreaking for your family. We can't imagine losing one child, and to lose two is unbelievable. We want you to know that we are saying a prayer for all of you, and thinking of you during this sad time. All of the Sidener and Cunningham families send their condolences and love. We are hoping that you can make it through this rough time with God's help. Love, Mike and Marie
