Boyd Campbell Jr.

Boyd (Joe) Earle Campbell Jr., 65, of Cumby went to be with our Lord on Wednesday evening September 1, 2021.

The family wants everyone to follow Social Distancing Guidelines and mask are required. We ask you to please respect the families decision.

Private Family Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday September 11, 2021 at Brashear Baptist Church in Brashear, Texas. Public visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service at 10:00 A.M.

Joe was born August 18, 1956 in Oklahoma City, OK to Boyd Earle Campbell Sr. and Mitzi Worthington Campbell. He married the love of his life, Brenda Evans, on October 21, 2000.

Joe loved his family, friends, raising cattle, roping, camping, hunting and fishing. He would do anything for anybody. He was of the Christian Faith and a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Brenda Campbell; brother Tim Campbell and wife Christine, brother Chris Horne, son Jason Campbell and wife Stacey, daughter Jamie McGowan and husband Scott, son Eric Williams and wife Tamara, daughter Stefany Walton and husband Jason.

Grandchildren: Blane Campbell, Bryan Campbell, Jasey Campbell, Kase Campbell, Kole Campbell, Jaylee Sims, Kutter McGowan, Shyla Williams, Kaleb Kurn, Jace Walton, Matthew Walton, Lilly Walton and Laynie Walton; great grandson Kyrie Ezedinma. He is also survived by brother-in-laws Jimmy Evans and wife Gena, Dewayne Evans and wife Twonette and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents John and Mitzi Horne and his father-in-law Howard Evans and granddaughter Ellie Sue Walton.
